Mr. Sunmonu graduated from the University of Lagos with a first class degree in Mathematics and Computer Science. He joined Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria Limited (SPDC) in 1978 as a Computer Programmer/Business Analyst.
Mr. Sunmonu served in various capacities in Shell both in Nigeria and abroad which includes Senior EDP Auditor; Head, Information Planner/Portfolio Consultant; IT Manager; Area Production Manager; Asset Manager; Regional Business Adviser at the Shell Headquarters at The Hague and General Manager Production for the SPDC Eastern operations. In 2005, he joined the Board of SPDC following his appointment as Executive Director, Corporate Affairs.
He was appointed on January 1, 2008 as the Managing Director of SPDC and Regional Vice President Production. On January 1, 2010 Mr. Sunmonu became the Country Chair, Shell Companies in Nigeria; he combined the portfolio with his role as Managing Director of The Shell Petroleum Development Company (SPDC) and Vice President, Production, Sub-Saharan Africa
Mr. Sunmonu retired from SPDC in February, 2015
Since his retirement from SPDC in 2015, Mr. Sunmonu seats on various companies’ Board of Directors and continues to provide leadership and professional guidance to established and upcoming businesses in Nigeria. He is also the Chairman of Julius Berger Plc., one of the biggest construction companies in Nigeria.
Mrs. Salamatu Aderinokun holds a Diploma in Insurance and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. She is also an alumnus of the prestigious Lagos Business School.
She has over 19 years’ experience in the Banking and Financial industry and has served in various positions in different organizations ranging from General Manager, Operations, Head of Treasury and as an Investment Officer. She is currently the Managing Director of First Marina Trust Limited, a Finance and Investment Management Company.
Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi is an Accountant and seasoned Real Estate Developer before his ascension to the throne. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and the Institute of Management.
Oba Ogunwusi has been involved in engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contracts for over 11 years. He was involved in notable projects including the development of the Northern Foreshore Estate and various housing projects in Lagos and different parts of Nigeria.
Mr. Oludolapo Ajayi is a practicing lawyer and real estate specialist. He attended St Gregory’s College, Obalende, Lagos, Edward Greene’s Tutorial College, Oxford and studied law at the renowned University of Ife, Ile-Ife, Nigeria with Honors. He was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1984..
Mr. Ajayi began his legal career at the Ministry of Justice, Benin, Edo State and proceeded to practice at Adeyiga O.Ajayi & Co. for many years. He began his own practice, Brunel Partnership a multi-disciplinary real estate advisory and legal services firm in 2004.
Mr. Ajayi is also the CEO of First Realty Limited, a full service real estate advisory Services Company, which provides services to various blue-chip companies, and have successfully promoted many real estate projects including residential housing units in Lekki, Oniru Estate, Victoria Island and commercial office blocks in various parts of Lagos.
Mr. Nwizu graduated from the University of Benin, Benin-City with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics & Statistics.
He is currently the Managing Director of CET Energy Group, an indigenous Oil & gas company borne out of the diversification exercise of CET Powers, a company which specializes in power rental for hotels, manufactures, breweries, secure Sites, complete EPP & IPP solutions. It is also the largest independent fleet of rental units in Sub-Sahara Africa.
Mr. Emeka Ndu graduated from the University of Nigeria with a Second Class Upper distinction in Accountancy; He became a Chartered Accountant in 1986 and was elevated to a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria in 1996. He started his career as an Audit Assistant with Price Waterhouse and rose to the position of Audit Manager.
Mr. Ndu is the co-founder of C&I Leasing Plc. He served as the Managing Director of C&I Leasing Plc. and rose to his current position of Vice-Chairman. As the Managing Director of C&I Leasing Plc., he steered the company to its listing on the Nigerian Stock Exchange in December 1997, as the first and to date only leasing company to be listed on the Stock Exchange. Mr. Ndu has served as the Chairman of the Shipping and Marine Services Sub-Committee of the National Consultative Forum set up by the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (National Content Division) to promote indigenous content in the Nigerian oil & gas industry.
Mr. Ndu is a recipient of various national and international awards and sits on the Board of various other companies.
Mr. Cyrille Nkontchou holds a BA in Economics from Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He is the Co-founding Partner of Enko Capital Managers (“ECM”), Management Company of the Enko Africa Private Equity Fund.
Mr. Nkontchou has years of experience as an Investment Banker and was a Manager in Accenture in Paris, specializing in financial markets. He was Managing Director and Founder of LiquidAfrica Holdings Limited, a pan-African investment bank specializing in capital raising and trading in all African markets. Before starting LiquidAfrica in 2000, he was the head of Sub-Saharan research at Merrill Lynch & Co. in London, where he was ranked in the Financial Mail 1999 Analyst Survey as one of the best research analysts on the continent. Mr. Nkontchou was nominated as Young Global Leader 2006 by the World Economic Forum.
Mr. Ralph Gilchrist holds an MA in Law from Cambridge University and an MA from the University of Pennsylvania, and is a qualified Barrister. He is a Co-founding Partner of Enko Capital Managers (“ECM”).. He has been involved in investment in Africa for over 27 years, firstly with the Commonwealth Development Corporation, and more recently with private equity houses based in southern Africa.
He was CEO of the Comafin Investment Fund, which invested throughout sub-Saharan Africa, was a member of Sasfin Bank’s private equity team focused on mid-cap transactions in South Africa and lead African Alliance’s private equity business investing in mid-cap companies in sub-Saharan Africa
Mrs. Linda Tobi-Isiekwena is a seasoned legal practitioner, banker and mortgage adviser with more than ten years’ experience in Company Law, Mortgage Underwriting and Financing, Real Estate Advisory, Corporate Governance, Loan Recovery, Tax Advisory and Immigration. She is a Partner at Moland Solicitors.
Mrs. Tobi-Isiekwena obtained a Bachelor’s in Law (LLB) degree from the University of Benin, Barrister at Law (BL) degree from the Nigerian Law School, Abuja, a Master’s in International Commercial Law (LLM) from the University of Aberdeen, Scotland and a Master’s in Business Administration from the prestigious Imperial College, London. She also has a certificate in Leadership from the Said Business School, University of Oxford.
Mrs Tobi-Isiekwena is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators and the Institute of Credit Administrators of Nigeria. She is also an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria and the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (Nigeria). She is a Notary Public of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and a Member of the Society for Corporate Governance Nigeria.
She is also a Member of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Lagos, International Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA) – Lagos, Nigeria Branch, and International Bar Association.
